I am not sure I care about the drug side of it (I do think it would be a good source of taxes, also it would cripple the criminal drug trade), but hemp needs to be legal to grow for food, gas, clothing, paper, and all the ways that it is better then cotton and corn. It is one of the fastest growing plants, so we can make way more of it, and it enriches the soil, unlike cotton witch depletes it entirely.
